WELCOME BACK TO FASHION FRIDAY, TODAYS SPRING 2012 POST IS FROM THE DESIGNER NAHM, BELOW IS THE HAIR, MAKEUP, NAILS AND WARDROBE TO INSPIRE YOU THIS WEEKEND WHEN YOU EITHER HIT THE CLUB, GO OUT ON A DATE OR JUST VISITING WITH FRIENDS…THIS IS WHERE YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TO SHOP FOR!

FIRST, LETS START WITH THE NAIL TRENDS…THINK CLEAN, NUDE, CLASSIC!

At NAHMWanda Ruiz created three unique oval manicure styles to color coordinate with airy white sundresses, plum-punchy prints and burnt orange woven shifts. Cottony-white nails were crafted with two coats of CND Colour in Washed Down White. Faded Creamsicle-orange nails were comprised of CND Colour in Desert Suede topped with Copper Shimmer Effect, and precious ruby nails were done using CND Colour in Dark Ruby finished with Copper Pearl Effect. These luminescent styles complemented twisted unicorn top-knots and shimmery eye make-up.

FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP…. YOUNG AND FRESH AND SO EASY!

MAKEUP

Incredibly soft, almost ethereal makeup was used at Nahm, with makeup artist Nadine Luke letting the clothes do the talking. Vivid prints, loose, floaty fabrics, and desert inspired colors were featured in shirt dresses with Peter Pan collars and striped jumpsuits. In contrast, makeup was soft and simple. Eyes were lined all the way around with a shimmering white eye liner and lips had a darker tone.

NAILS

Three different types of polish were used in the show, and all had an elegant, grown up feel about them to offset the collections almost school-girly type vibe. Wanda Ruiz from the CND team used shades of burnt orange, burgundy and cream (CND Colour in Desert Suede topped with CND Copper Shimmer effectCND Colour in Dark Ruby, and CND Colour in Washed Down White), and nails were kept short and rounded to look even more grown up.

HAIR

Cute topknots ruled the runway. Hair was pulled back tightly off the models faces, and twisted into a ballerina bun at the top of their heads. Such an easy, every-girl-can-do-it look!

FOR THE WARDROBE, PUT TOGETHER ANY OF THE PIECES, OR, REMEMBER YOU CAN DO IT WITH ACCESSORIES, I KNOW YOU HAVE AT LEAST ONE OF THE PIECES BELOW JUST SITTING IN YOUR CLOSET! JUST PUT ON A SHEER WHITE SHIRT, DO A KNOT BUN ON TOP OF YOUR HEAD, AND WEAR A DARK LIP OR LINE YOUR LOWER EYELID WITH A WHITE PENCIL!

I HOPR THIS INSPIRED YOU TO HIT THE MALL OR YOUR FAVORITE STORE TO PUT TOGETHER YOUR OWN VERSION. FOR ME, IT WILL BE THE WHITE EYELINER AND ALOT OF MASCARA, IT KINFD OF REMINDS ME OF TWIGGY FROM THE 60’S
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
