So, I wanted to reorganize or redo the look of my messy makeup area in my bathroom and didn’t want to drop a lot of loot.
I went to The Goodwill Store again in milford, Ct. There store is very nice and has many “NEW” and almost new stuff
I found these heavy, thick glass cubes that would look great for my makeup palettes and brushes. Only $5 and the other was $3. I walked around and found some more great things that were brand new..
This light, brand new, $10 Perfect for my studio! And check out this chair! it was solid, and heavy and looked like something you would get in Homegoods (Love that store too by the way) it was only $20
This table looked Vintage, I didn’t buy it but I liked it.
So my point is definitely shop in thrift stores to see some great finds. You won’t always find stuff, it is hit or miss, but, you can stumble across things that you would’ve ended up paying triple for somewhere else.
So here is my RE Organized bathroom with what I bought that day..Total cost $11 The look.. Well, better than before :)

So I couldn’t take another day with my chipped up nails! Its because I didn’t have CND Shellac on them..I should’ve known
They were driving me insane! Literally by day 3 after my manicure last week they were chipping, So my advice is…Save up the extra dough and get shellac’d! its worth every penny, and NO DRY TIME, NO MORE SITTING AT THE NAIL DRY STATION! and the best is no chipping or peeling! You will have a manicure that lasts 2 weeks and looks the same as it did the day you left the salon!

My First Video Tutorial! OMGGG was it hard to do this for the very first time. I didn’t know where to look, and when lol then the editing part was so complicated! So, I picked something that was easy, and figured someone else may learn from it, or think its really stupid, oh well :)

My hands felt dry, my nails were chipped, I had a snag that was catching on everything, here is my before and after, I feel like a new person, and during the manicure they give you a massage, its a spa hour for a manicure price! Instant mood boost.

First Let Me Show You Before…
nails, we all know that annoying snag you get on your nails that is catching on EVERYTHING! And after the crazy holidays I could definitely use a massage or spa day..BUT, January is budget month, can’t really splurge on too many things, So the least in expensive way to treat yourself on a budget is to get a manicure, heres how…I stopped into my neighborhood nail salon called Oasis Nails & Spa in Branford town center
I was greeted immediately, the atmosphere was very modern, clean and cozy. My manicurists name was Eli, he gave me a meticulous manicure after removing Shellac from my nails (which is my favorite and lasted 2 weeks) During the removal, he gave me neck and shoulders an amazing massage. Then he fixed my split nail without me even having to ask him. the manicure even included an exfoliation scrub which most salons don’t do in a basic manicure. During the manicure, a woman sat next to me who just got engaged in the past 2 days and she was excited to get Shellac to have nice nails to show off her new ring, So..
Of course I was eager to tell her about Naomi’s Studio for her wedding hair & makeup (the team I work with doing makeup) and was able to give her a lot of different referrals and tips. I believe we are in certain places for a reason, I believe I really helped her. When I went to dry my nails at the drying section, Eli gave me another shoulder massage (YES 2 Massages! ) I Know, Awesome..So My point is , for the price of a manicure, I got a my dry skin removed, my nail fixed, gorgeous new hands, feel like new, met a new possible client or at least helped her in other ways, and got a massage.
