SO WHAT I DID HERE AS YOU CAN SEE IS I STARTED TO FIRST AIRBRUSH WITH RED. THE COLOR RED BLOCKS OUT BLACK, DARK BLUE AND VIBRANT COLORS. YOU WANT TO FIRST CREATE A COLOR BLOCK THEN START TO WORK YOUR WAY UP WITH COLORS THAT RESEMBLE THE SKIN TONE. IF YOU ONLY HAVE MAKEUP, THAT IS FINE, USE A RED LIP LINER, OR LIPSTICK, THEN WORK YOUR WAY UP WITH CONCEALERS… THE TRICK IS
TO POWDER IN BETWEEN EACH COAT WITH TRANSLUCENT POWDER TO SET THE COLOR YOU DID BEFORE. IT TAKES TIME AND PATIENCE!!!

MELT-PROOF MAKEUP TIP #1: WEAR PRIMER
“If you’re going to be in any kind of weather and want your makeup to last, you HAVE to prime your skin using an oil-free primer and set it with a powder — you simply have to,” says Kae. “I never leave the house without my Amazing Cosmetics Anti-Aging Face Primer, $34 and Amazing Cosmetics Powder Set, $27.”
MELT-PROOF MAKEUP TIP #2: AVOID LIQUID FOUNDATION
“I always recommend avoiding heavy layers of makeup — especially in the summer,” says Rodriguez. “You’re hot in the summer so you want to keep it light.” And the last thing you want is a caked-on look. Remember the more you put on, the more is at risk of melting off.
Opt for a tinted moisturizer if you have dry or combination skin. “For most skin types, I recommend the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Oil-Free, $42, which has an SPF factor of 20 to keep you protected from the sun. It’s light, and you can use spot-concealer for blemishes,” says Landis. Try Cle de Peau Concealer, $70. For oily skin, sebum production becomes especially challenging to handle in the summer. Rodriquez suggests reaching for mineral foundation, as these are powder formulas that help soak up oil and provide sun protection. He recommends Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base Mineral Foundation SPF 20, $34.50, which stays put.
MELT-PROOF MAKEUP TIP #3: USE POWDER
“I recommend using a setting powder in the t-zone area only. That way you can maintain a dewy look,” says Rodriguez. Dust some loose powder on your nose, chin, upper lip (where you tend to get oily), and the center of your forehead. Leave everything else glowy. MELT-PROOF MAKEUP TIP #4: USE A MULTIPURPOSE PRODUCT
An easy way to keep the number of products you use to a minimum (to avoid that dreaded, overdone look)? Use a multipurpose product like Nars Multiple, $39, which you can dab on your cheeks, lids and lips for a quick, put-together look. For touch-ups throughout the day, Kae recommends carrying a 2-in-1 product in your bag. “When I’m working in Miami, I’d be lost without Stila Convertible Color, $25. I quickly dab on a little color to cheeks and lips to instantly brighten the face,” she says.
MELT-PROOF MAKEUP TIP #5: USE OIL BLOTTERS
Even though you’re only using oil-free, non-comedogenic products, sometimes shine can still occur during the day. Instead of applying more powder, which can lead to looking cakey, use an oil blotter to get rid of excess shine. Rodriguez likes Tatcha Aburatorigami Japanese Blotting Papers, $12. “They’re really good for blotting off any excess shine around the eyes.”

MAC Extended Play Lash is for those who have issues with flaking, fading, smudgy-coon (aka raccoon eye) issues. This one has an extra long wear and I experience no problems with it wearing off or flaking however I typically never have issues with my mascara doing this anyway but this is nice for those with oily lids or just general problems keeping their mascara in place.
One of the nicest parts about it is the fact it removes so easily. Warm water will take it off in a few seconds or an oil based remover. I’m impressed that such a long wearing formula didn’t end up sticking around, impossible to remove, for hours on end.

- Wait a few minutes for the magnetic design to set before applying topcoat.

What Guys Think Of Your Makeup
When you think of sexy makeup, you most likely think of a dark, smoky eye and bold red lips. It turns out that most men think the exact opposite — 70% of guys actually find the natural, fresh-faced makeup look sexier than the glammed-up femme fatale. Surprised?
Daily Makeover took it to the streets and polled 50 real men to find out what guys really think of your makeup. Each man was presented with two shots of celebrities — Ashley Greene, Charlize Theron, Megan Fox,Jennifer Lopez, and Zoe Saldana — wearing very natural makeup and a more dramatic look. The guys were then asked which look they preferred and why. Here’s the breakdown:

Jerry, 33: “I won’t say that these women don’t look great in both photos, but I just can’t seem to get myself to care much for the heavy eye makeup and lipstick.”
Ryan, 46: “Women don’t realize how much men love them in their natural state. I’d rather see my girlfriend with no makeup on at all, or at least very little, then with all that stuff piled on her face.”
Still, there were a few men who liked the glammed up look better.
Dominic, 26: “I think Zoe Saldana pulls both of these off pretty well. I’m almost torn because the eye makeup in the glam shot makes me look directly at her eyes.”
Scott, 52: “At first glance, I would choose the more natural look but taking a second look, I’m suddenly more partial to Jennifer Lopez’s glam makeup. To me, her makeup is glam, but in a subtle way.”

THE BRIGHT, BOLD LIP “HOW TO” …….
So, Everyone is seeing the Bold Lip trend right now, Yes everywhere!!! But, how do YOU do it “and” get it right, as well as STAY! This is how…
* First, you want to prep your lips. What I mean by this is Exfoliate, Moisturize and Plump.
OPTION 1. (Save) The fast, inexpensive way is after you brush your teeth, brush your lips..this removes dead skin AND plumps by stimulating the blood. Then add moisture, I use Aquaphor.
OPTION 2. The (Splurge), and, I have the time way, exfoliate your lips with cinnamon & sugar. The sugar removes the dead skin and the cinnamon is a natural plumper, it stimulates the blood (Added Bonus) the scent of the cinnamon will suppress the appetite! OR, get a lip plumping treatment like “Eminence Cinnamon Kiss Organic lip Plumper” Then moisturize, I like “Hissyfit” lip treatment!
* Next, Prime your lips and set the canvas for color…
OPTION 1. (Save) Blot your lips on a tissue to remove excess moisture and camouflage with any concealer, OR your foundation removing your natural lip color (Think Mannequin lips) and set with powder. Baby powder, talc powder or your pressed powder.
OPTION 2. (Splurge) Conceal all redness out of lips, I like ”Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer” And set with translucent powder like“Makeup Forever HD Translucent Powder”.
NOW, IT’S COLOR TIIMMEEEE…..
* CHOOSE YOUR LIP COLOR AND GET A MATCHING LIP PENCIL TO MATCH THAT COLOR!
1. Line your lips with your pencil either on the natural line to keep the existing shape, or outside of your line to create the illusion of fuller lips ( I need to do that, because my lips are small hahaha)
2. Fully color in your lips with the pencil and set with powder. Now apply your color. Use a lip brush to apply the lipstick, this will make your application precise and last longer versus applying straight from the lipstick itself.
3. YOU NEED TO BLOT ON A TISSUE!!! This is key. Then set with powder (Yes Again) And apply one more coat of lipstick.
4. Walah, Your Done! you can apply a little gloss on top to really make them glossy and fuller if you want. Now, go show off those sexy lips.

***THIS IS A BIT HIGH MAINTENANCE IF YOUR GOING TO GIVE IT A GO, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR LIP LINER AND LIPSTICK WITH YOU ON THE GO TO ALWAYS FRESHEN UP, BUT, IF DONE WITH THE STEPS BELOW, THE TOUCHUPS WON’T BE AS FREQUENT, IT WILL LAST 100 TIMES LONGER!

This Lucite Nail Design is so easy to do and the look is super sophisticated! I will be posting a how to video soon, but in the meantime, you can do this on your natural nails or by applying false nails! Now, What to do…just pick up some clear nail tips at any beauty supply store or online beauty supply, use nail glue to make them semi permanent and last a couple weeks or simply pick up some glue dots from any craft store to adhere to your nails for the night (like you do with false eyelashes) Next, take any piece of fabric that will reflect the look you want to get like lace or fishnet etc, and stipple any color nail polish or acrylic paint over the fabric like a stencil on the nail and then protect with topcoat, add some glitter or rhinestones for Bling!!!!
