NOT SURE HOW TO WEAR YOUR NAILS FOR 4TH OF JULY? HERE’S A LITTLE INSPIRATION FROM ME ON WHAT IM WEARING, A SIMPLE RED GLITTER FADE, VERY EASY TO DO! HERES WHAT YOU NEED, AND SHOULD ONLY TAKE YOU 15 MINUTES!!!!
IN THIS PIC, I USED RED NAIL POLISH FROM CND CALLED “FLASHPOINT” WHICH WAS A BIG HIT AT FASHION WEEK! ALSO YOU WILL NEED RED GLITTER FROM ANY CRAFT STORE, TOP COAT AND AN ART BRUSH OR GEL BRUSH.
FIRST, POLISH YOUR NAILS OF COURSE, THEN ON A PLASTIC BACK PAD OR WAX PAPER, (ANYTHING THAT THE NAIL POLISH WON’T SOAK INTO) PLACE A DROP OF TOP COAT , AND PUT YOUR GLITTER INTO THE CAP OF THE GLITTER CONTAINER OR JUST SPRINKLE A DIME SIZE AMOUNT ONTO THE WAX PAPER
DIP YOUR ART BRUSH INTO THE CLEAR COAT SO THAT IT’S STICKY TO PICK UP THE GLITTER AND START TO PRESS IT INTO THE CUTICLE AREA
CONTINUE ON ALL 10 FINGERS, THEN GO BACK WITH A DRY BRUSH TO FLAKE OR DUST OFF ANY EXCESS THAT SPRINKLED ALL OVER YOUR SKIN…(
YES IT’S THAT EASY! YOU CAN EVEN ADD A 2ND GLITTER TO THE MIDDLE PART AND CREATE AN OMBRE FADE WHICH I WILL BE SHOWING IN ANOTHER POST
FINISH WITH TOP COAT TO SEAL IT ALL IN AND MAKE SUPER SHINY! AND THERE YOU GO, FUN GLITTER NAILS!

My hands felt dry, my nails were chipped, I had a snag that was catching on everything, here is my before and after, I feel like a new person, and during the manicure they give you a massage, its a spa hour for a manicure price! Instant mood boost.

First Let Me Show You Before…
nails, we all know that annoying snag you get on your nails that is catching on EVERYTHING! And after the crazy holidays I could definitely use a massage or spa day..BUT, January is budget month, can’t really splurge on too many things, So the least in expensive way to treat yourself on a budget is to get a manicure, heres how…I stopped into my neighborhood nail salon called Oasis Nails & Spa in Branford town center
I was greeted immediately, the atmosphere was very modern, clean and cozy. My manicurists name was Eli, he gave me a meticulous manicure after removing Shellac from my nails (which is my favorite and lasted 2 weeks) During the removal, he gave me neck and shoulders an amazing massage. Then he fixed my split nail without me even having to ask him. the manicure even included an exfoliation scrub which most salons don’t do in a basic manicure. During the manicure, a woman sat next to me who just got engaged in the past 2 days and she was excited to get Shellac to have nice nails to show off her new ring, So..
Of course I was eager to tell her about Naomi’s Studio for her wedding hair & makeup (the team I work with doing makeup) and was able to give her a lot of different referrals and tips. I believe we are in certain places for a reason, I believe I really helped her. When I went to dry my nails at the drying section, Eli gave me another shoulder massage (YES 2 Massages! ) I Know, Awesome..So My point is , for the price of a manicure, I got a my dry skin removed, my nail fixed, gorgeous new hands, feel like new, met a new possible client or at least helped her in other ways, and got a massage.
